From a Promise to a Lifesaving Mission
In 1978, a group of young doctors graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi. During their training at Civil Hospital, they witnessed countless patients unable to afford life-saving surgery.
Years later, those classmates reunited with one promise:
"No one should ever be denied life-saving surgery because they are poor."
That promise became Dowites'78 Operation Theatre Complex (DOTS®).
